Book Checkout Policy
- Parents can check out under their student's name.
- Students in 1st-5th grade may check out up to 5 items at a time.
- Students may not check out new books if they have any books overdue. (We want our students to be responsible for the materials they have)
- If a student has any overdue items, he/she will receive a notice with the title, the date it was checked out, the date it was due, and the cost of the item should it need to be replaced. We do not charge daily fines.
- Students may come to the library anytime as they desire, so long as they have permission for their current teacher and not other events are active in the library.
- Students may recheck materials if they wish to keep them for an additional week. We must have the actual library item in order to renew it.
- If a library book is lost or damaged, the student will receive a letter indicating the price of the item. Parents or students must pay in cash the exact amount due; a receipt will be issued.
